The Ostrea Chair
Inspired by the form and flow of the sea, the Ostrea Chair combines fluid lines with engineered precision. Designed by Matthias De Ferm and named after the Latin word for “oyster,” the chair is constructed from meticulously rolled, bent, and welded stainless-steel tubes — a testament to thoughtful design and craftsmanship.
Two cushion options offer versatility: a rounded seat that keeps the backrest open, or a full-surface cushion that follows the chair’s distinctive contours. Ostrea is where sculptural shape meets technical finesse — refined, functional, and unmistakably contemporary.
